And, of course, how to get from Naples to the Naples Airport
Despite the chaos that is the Naples Airport (also called the Capodichino Airport, if you see that on a sign somewhere), it's relatively easy to reach the city center from the airport.

Either the Alibus for 5 euros per person, or, the taxi. Within Naples, there's a flat fee of 20 euros for taking the taxi to or from the airport. I believe this price is only for the classic 4-door sedan, not the larger minivan-style taxis. This is also only the price for certain routes, such as the airport to the train station. Going to the harbor, for instance, is closer to 28 euros, depending on which of the four cab companies you decide to use.
From Naples Airport to the City Center/the Train Station
When you're at the airport, it's a little difficult to find the bus stop, given the fact it's not right outside the front door, like you might expect. In fact, it's down the block a little ways (linked here on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rcsW16jxYQg8kNBHA).
Likewise, you cannot (as of March 2025) buy a ticket on board the bus, you must purchase one in advance. You can purchase a mobile ticket, or you can buy a paper ticket the airport.
Again, because this system was designed by someone playing a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey version of "how can we make traveling even more complicated", you can buy the tickets inside at a tabaccheria (a place that sells tobacco products, salt, and magazines, the Italian trifecta of needs), or at a ticket kiosk, or on board for a slightly higher price.
When you're on board, you must validate your ticket on the little machine (most of the machines are yellow), and it will stamp your ticket with the date and time. If you don't, and you're caught, you can be fined, even if you have a ticket. Validating the ticket is what makes it, well, valid.
As a final note: the bus doesn't run incredibly frequently and the lines for the bus are pretty lengthy. Keep this in mind if you're planning on using the bus and you have a tight train or ferry connection—it might be better to use the taxi even if it's more expensive.

Essentially, it's the above process in reverse. If you didn't read the above process, it is as follows:
Go to the Naples Stazione Centrale (not the Stazione Afragola, you can click here to learnt he difference between the two). Just out front—not in the back with all of the other buses—is the stop for the Alibus. (Linked here on Google Maps if you'd like to save it: https://maps.app.goo.gl/NDEJMcCa2szzk7Cj9)
You can buy a ticket for 5 euros beforehand or for a slight upcharge on board. You must validate your ticket, even if you bought it on board, when you get on the bus. Find the little yellow machine (though they're sometimes another color, like white), feed the ticket into the slot until you hear a noise, and voilà, it's validated. If you're caught riding without a validated ticket, you will be fined.
Take the bus to the airport and you will get dropped off about 5 minutes away from the front door, by foot (Google Maps link here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FYXCFTveGki9y18QA).
